Naval Medical Center San Diego (Balboa)
Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA, commonly referred to as Balboa, is the largest and most comprehensive medical facility in the western US. Its staff not only serves wounded returning from deployments, but also provides graduate medical education. Balboa personnel also staff the hospital ship USNS Mercy, the I Marine Expeditionary Force and other medical efforts--such as disaster relief--in the Pacific Ocean area.

Hours: Weekdays 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
