Gift Packs
Saying "thanks" to those who serve...
A gift pack is a great way to send a personal "thank you" to soldiers injured in service to our country. Gift packs -- filled with items designed to bring a bit of comfort and recreation to soldiers and to the family members at their side -- are delivered monthly to Walter Reed.
Churches, schools, scout troops, VFW chapters, businesses, retirement communities, and sport teams are some of the many groups that have donated to the gift pack program. For details on how your group or business can participate, contact giftpacks@cause-usa.org.
Individuals can support the gift pack program with a donation or by sending any of the items listed below to Cause at PO Box 218, Herndon, VA 20172. Please: Only new merchandise and current issues of magazines.
- Hand-held games by Radica or similar
- Disposable cameras
- Sports wallets
- Books of stamps
- Cotton pajama bottoms (size M-XL)
- Toiletries
- Baseball caps

- Gift cards & gift certificates for groceries, fast-food, gasoline, electronics, online vendors, drug stores, etc.
- Phone cards
- Nalgene bottles with loop tops
- Magazines (Mad, Motor Trend, Car & Driver, Sports Illustrated, outdoor life, computers, electronics, etc.)
- T-shirts & athletic shirts and shorts
